The door creaked open, and Kritarth stepped out, his presence commanding yet distant. "You're going to catch a cold out here," He said, his voice a mixture of anger and irritation. It was a tone she had grown accustomed to, one that made her want to push back even harder. "I'd rather be cold than trapped inside with you," She retorted, crossing her arms defiantly. Kritarth's lips curled into a smirk, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You're not trapped, Ruhanika . You chose this." "Chose? You think I had a choice?" She shot back, the tension growing palpable between them. Before Kritarth could respond, the sudden ringing of Ruhanika's phone interrupted their standoff.
